As a care team member, you are responsible for communicating, organizing, and completing tasks such as caring for resident needs, providing correct and timely medications, cleaning rooms, making beds, doing laundry, cooking meals, running exercises and activities, and spending individual time helping to create quality of life for others.
Our goal is to care for each of our residents in a full-service kind of way (showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating/feeding, providing individual, social, and spiritual engagement, etc.
) It is also important to keep the home comfortable and welcoming, which would include tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, tidying up, organizing, etc.
) Our home is unlike any other facility you've worked in.
Our care team members report that this is the best job they have had in a long time! Being a part of a care team in a small home like ours means that you help create and influence the team.
It requires that you enjoy working with others and communicating plans, tasks and goals.
It also includes creative problem solving, organization, compassion, and an energetic and welcoming attitude.
You will work together with your care team to ensure compliance to our quality standards to provide excellent performance and service while providing optimal care to our residents.
