The Director of Retail Operations will be responsible for the development and communication of processes and procedures for all retail store locations, to enhance the retail experience and boost profitability by ensuring a first-class OMNI-Channel experience.
The Director will also oversee the exciting new store openings and support high-performing teams with ongoing training for both existing and new store members.
The Retail Outlet strategy will be their responsibility, guiding its development and communication.
Using their analytical and problem-solving skills, the Director will craft and communicate business strategies to drive sales and control costs effectively.

What You'll Do:
Direct, manage, and assist in the design of all retail processes and procedures and daily retail operations Evaluate processes and look for efficiencies and cost reductions in our current store processes Benchmark industry best practices to support process improvement and consistency of store operations Develop and evolve Omni-channel process and procedures with operations team and retail team to insure customer service and competitive Omni-channel capabilities Partner with District managers to evaluate staffing levels ensure appropriate staffing and insure profit improvement in retail stores Development and coordination of an Outlet business strategy Leads annual inventory process to ensure accurate inventory levels Support customer experience initiatives with District Managers in the stores Oversee store supply purchases and store maintenance Coaches, mentors, and trains staff as required Upholds and exemplifies the company core values of quality, service and integrity to create customer first environment Ensure exceptional store standards are met in cleanliness, backroom maintenance, and overall store appearance Manage store opening team and ensure all facilities, technology, staffing, are complete Evaluate our store opening processes and look for ongoing efficiencies and cost savings What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Ops, or similar area Equivalent work experience will be considered 7
Years of Retail store operations or equivalent experience.
Preferred Multi-Unit, Corporate Office office experience and managing teams Experience managing new store opening process from start to finish Experience collaborating with several other functions to accomplish goals Excellent organizational and project management skills Budgeting and payroll management experience Self-starter with strong leadership skills required Strong delegation and partnership skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, & Word) Duluth Headquarters Benefits and Perks As we continue to grow Duluth Trading Company and its house of brands, the perks have perked up, too.

Compensation Range:
$151,000 - $170,000/year Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
