At Duluth Trading Company, we fundamentally believe in strong in-person interactions as our culture thrives when we learn, create, and collaborate with each other. The position will be based in our corporate headquarters in Mt. Horeb, WI just outside of Madison. What You'll Do:
Develop and deliver annual and longer-term strategies to achieve/exceed sales, sell-throughs, gross margin, inventory turns, GMROI, and Adjusted EBITDA. Establish and deliver the objectives that target financial results supporting Duluth Trading's brand/category vision. Partner with cross-functional leaders to create financial targets that align with overall growth objectives set by the Chief Executive Officer. Develop and lead the overarching merchandising strategy for all channels, including sales, gross product margin, inventory productivity, assortment strategy, forecasts, buying plans, and promotional and markdown strategies. Assume responsibility for long-range financial plans/goals, forecasting accuracy and inventory management. Lead inventory optimization and flow management including stock levels, allocation, replenishment, receipt flow and turns. Manage P&L budgets. Act as the champion of change management and process improvement through leadership that identifies opportunities and allocates resources to drive efficiencies, improve accuracy and best practices. Develop a deep understanding of our customer, partner to identify and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth. Understand the competitive landscape and capitalize on opportunities. Attracts and develops talent and selects high-caliber team members, both internally and outside the company. Creates a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equity. Presents to and interacts with our Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors. What We're Looking For:

years' progressive senior leadership experience in merchandising and inventory management. Retail and eCommerce apparel merchandising expertise coupled with a successful track record of growing revenue and profitability. Deep understanding of the financial indicators of an apparel brand, translating the insights into competitive differentiating results. Servant leader and team builder that fosters collaborative, candid, and constructive relationships with peers, senior executives, direct reports, and the Board of Directors. High degree of personal and professional integrity. A passion for merchandising innovation. A deep understanding and enabler of exceptional customer experiences.
